Bringing science to life!
With hundreds of hands-on exhibits to explore, live shows and a Planetarium, At-Bristol is one of the UK’s most exciting interactive science centres. Voted Visitor Attraction of the Year 2011 by Visit Bristol, we have also been listed as one of VisitBritain's top 10 family attractions, and are one of The Guardian's top 20 family-friendly museums in the UK!

Exciting news - In the Zone returns!
Our award-winning exhibition In the Zone has returned from the Commonwealth Games! Discover the science of the incredible human body in relation to sport and movement by investigating your veins under a near-infra red camera, exploring forces with high speed cameras and learning all about muscle fatigue with an uphill hand-cycle challenge!
There will still be plenty of activities for under-8s including our Build It! exhibit, Little Stars Planetarium shows and storytelling spaces. Did you know that tiny explorers and their grown-ups get reduced entry on Mondays with our Toddler Time discount and we also have special Toddler Takeover events, designed specifically for under-5s.
The Planetarium will be closed from 16 Feb until after Easter for some essential maintenance, as we’re working on some exciting plans – we’ll be able to update you with full information in a few weeks.
Additional Half-Term activities - take to the skies!
From 16th - 22nd February you can see your imagination soar with Flight Deck, a host of high-flying engineering fun including making your own jet propelled engine.
